We're not the best at maintaining our blog...maybe one day we'll get better!

We live and teach at an international school in South Korea. We're starting our 4th year and are not sure when we'll end up leaving! We really love our jobs and we get to travel all over the world and see some amazing things. We feel very blessed to be living the lives we are, and all glory goes to God! He is our reason for living.

Traffic lights don’t mean a thing here in Suji, South Korea. Neither do cross walks. Buses, cars and pedestrians ignore all the usual traffic niceties. They run red lights, walk right in front automobiles and honk at everyone else as if they should know they were going to break that law.
It was raining today, so I took the bus to work. In the 10 minute ride to work, we turned left on an obvious red, almost hit two walkers, who just ran out in front of us, and had to swerve two lanes to get to our stop. As we got off the bus my boss looks at me and states “For Korea, that was a pretty chilled bus ride.” I sure ain’t in Arkansas anymore.
Adios, Michael
